Just about every morning since I was sixteen I’ve always woke up at around 5AM. Allowing time between just me and God to pray, read, and sing his praises is what has sustained me even in the darkest days. I try to use one inspirational song to guide that time and today William McDowell’s (@williammcdowell) “I Give Myself Away” was the song.
Romans 12:1 says, “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” As a Christian we are called to understand that our lives are not our own but they belong to God. He has placed us here to do very specific things and when we are in line with that we go far.
Oh and be sure to check out the movement created by this song.
