I remember the first time I saw this episode of The Cosby Show. It was so moving and inspirational. Watching people of color be so passionate about education was what began to stir in me a commitment to be involved. Every time I think about what got me involved in education reform I go back to this song. This morning it is my Morning Inspirational.
Morning Inspirational – Just about every morning since I was sixteen I’ve always woke up at around 5AM. Allowing time between just me and God to pray, read, and sing his praises is what has sustained me even in the darkest days. I try to use one inspirational song to guide that time that includes scripture and prayer.
